How to unlock the back-to-school badges
The back-to-school badge can be earned in DoodleMaths, DoodleEnglish, DoodleTables and DoodleSpell.
The badge will automatically unlock if a child is in the green zone on the 23rd of January AND 30th of January 2025.*
Children can reach the green zone by earning the target number of stars set for them by Doodle.
‘Little and often’ works best: we recommend using our apps for a few minutes a day so that your child or pupils can earn their target number of stars and stay in the green zone.
*Please note: a paid Doodle subscription is needed to unlock the badge (along with Doodle’s other virtual badges). If you don’t have one, don’t worry: you can enjoy a free 7-day trial of any of our apps!
How to track your child’s progress towards their goal
To see how close your child or pupils are to the green zone, log in to Doodle and press on the coloured gauge icon in the corner of the screen.
If they’re in the green zone, encourage them to keep up their hard work by using Doodle for just a few minutes each day.
If they’re in the red or orange zone, ask them to use Doodle each day and try to earn more stars by completing exercises or playing games.
