Discovery Education Europe Limited (“Discovery Education” or “we”) provides interactive educational tools designed to enhance learning for school-aged students through interactive exercises, online learning games and virtual rewards.

Discovery Education collects your personal information to set up and manage your account, provide the services to you and communicate with you about the services, respond to queries from you and, for Teachers/Head Teachers, to send an invoice to your school should you decide to continue using the services after the trial period. If you do not provide your personal information, we will not be able to provide you with the access to the relevant Learning App or services, since our services are user-specific.

If you opt-in, we will also use your personal information to send you marketing and promotional information about our services.

The personal information we collect varies depending on whether you are a Teacher, Head Teacher, Parent Guardian or Student user. The personal information we collect generally includes your name, contact information (address, telephone number, email address) and first name (surname is optional), birth month and birth year for pupils enrolled in the services, and school name and address.

We may disclose personal information to third party providers to assist with marketing and analytics, and to support us to provide our services, including the providers of customer support and communication services, and the hosts of our content and services. The kinds of information we disclose to third parties is related to the services they provide. We also transfer personal information to our related entities. These third party providers and related entities are located outside of Australia, including in the UK, USA and Europe Economic Area (EEA) as further described on our website.
