Here at DoodleMaths, we’re passionate about the environment. From developing our products to the way we utilise our office space, we’re always striving to ensure that we’re an eco-friendly learning solution.
Below are just some of the ways in which we’re reducing our environmental impact, one Doodle at a time. So, the next time you log in to DoodleMaths, you can be safe in the knowledge that not only are you building your child’s confidence in maths, you’re also helping the environment!
No more printouts
Doodle automatically creates every child a personalised work programme and instantly marks their work, uploading their progress to the online Parent and Teacher Dashboards. This is both tree and time friendly!
Teachers can easily export their pupils’ progress to create online reports which can be emailed, removing the need for printouts when report writing.
Our learning resources can be accessed online
All of Doodle’s additional learning resources can be accessed for free on our website, further reducing the need for printouts.
These include certificates, challenge sheets and getting-started guides, which can be printed out as required or used online.
As well as this, we also have a bank of over 300 curriculum-aligned topic guides and practice questions for Reception to Year 6. These guides are a fantastic alternative to workbooks, which often contain many blank pages.
When a new school signs up to Doodle, we also offer virtual demos and welcome webinars, reducing the amount of time and fuel required for travelling.
Our merchandise is eco-friendly
Wherever possible we avoid non-biodegradables, such as plastic. Instead, we focus on selling products that have as minimal an impact on the environment as possible.
For example, our wonderful wristbands don’t use any plastic, and even our colourful pencils are made out of recycled CDs!
Our team play their part
All of us at DoodleMaths are keen to play our part in helping the environment. We don’t print documents unless absolutely necessary, avoid wasting food (even if it means eating burnt homemade cake!) and recycle all of our paper and plastic.
As well as this, we never use plastic cups and we make a real effort to walk or cycle to work whatever the weather.
For personalised mathematical fun, DoodleMaths has thousands of curriculum-aligned exercises and educational games for your child to enjoy. Best of all, you can try it out for free!
