Use the × (Multiply) Sign

We can use the × sign for multiplying.

Example 1 => 2 lots of 10 are 20
2 multiplied by 10 equals 20
2 × 10 = 20

Example 2 => 3 times 5 is 15
The product of 3 and 5 is 15
3 × 5 = 15

Example 3 => 4 × 2 = [ ]
4 × 2 means 4 lots of 2
4 lots of 2 is 8!

Example 4 => 5 × 10 = 15
Is this true?
The × symbol means multiply.
5 multiplied by 10 is not 15.
So this is false.
The answer is 50.

Example 5 => What is 4 × 6?
Answer => 24
